GROUP WORK INSTRUCTOR/SUPERVISOR

During my time at UCL, I undertook a range of voluntary and extracurricular activities to supplement my coursework and laboratory training. One such activity involved my instruction and supervision of MSc part-time students utilizing UCL's Institute of Archaeology's ceramic collections. This training focused on the cleaning, reconstruction and packaging of low-fired ceramics.  The main goal of this work was to help introduce the part-time students to UCL's laboratory methods while providing guidance on best conservation practice when treating objects within a laboratory setting. Through this work, I gained the skills necessary to supervise, organize and train a group of conservation students alongside cultivating my own technical skills in cleaning and reconstruction.
