The Harvard Semitic Museum

October 2014-August 2015

VOLUNTEER OBJECTS CONSERVATOR

I greatly enjoyed my role as a volunteer objects conservator at the Harvard Semitic Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this position, I was able to aid in the documentation, cleaning and reconstruction of metal, clay, glass, stone, and plaster. Many of these treatments were in preparation for the "From the Nile to the Euphrates: The Creation of the Harvard Semitic Museum" exhibition which opened in December 2014.

These experiences were thoroughly enriching, allowing me to refine my established skills and work both independently and  collaboratively in a supportive environment to expand my experience in the conservation of archaeological and social history objects.
